Plot Label objects should be used to describe contents of the plotted data, and this
dialog box allows you to edit various label properties. You can display it either by
using plot viewer context menu, or select label object and choose Selected Plot Label
Properties command from the main menu. See Plot Labels Action
Category for additional information on plot label objects.
Data Tab:
Type - select one of four label kinds: simple text block, plot legend (with
additional text), arrow (also with optional text) and balloon-type label.
Coordinates - for all labels except arrow, first pair of coordinates (X1, Y2)
are relative position of the label object and don't rely on axes. However, both pairs of
coordinates for arrow label and second pair of coordinates for balloon label are scaled
in the same way as data points, so that when you change plot
scale, the label moves together with data points and even may disappear.
X/Y Axis - select which pair of plot axes should be used to define
coordinate plane. Notice: in DM2003, any plot actually have four
independent coordinate planes, and each label associated with its own
coordinate system!
Label text - use this field to enter description of curves (series) and their
features, or any other supplementary information.
View Tab:
Visible flag - determines whether this label should be displayed. Warning:
you can not show hidden label by means of standard DM2003 UI!
Other visual attributes - font, background color, contour line attributes like
width, color and type.
Preview - this picture allows you to see all changes immediately.
