Scaling options for plot axes may be defined in Axis Properties dialog box. Besides, DM2003 has a number of convenient commands for managing plot scale. Keep in mind that every plot serie may have different set of axes (and appropriate coordinate system).
Notice that if Zoom In or Zoom Out tools selected, X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 commands change only one axis limit: minimum or maximum; so that, axis range will be expanded or condensed. Scale increment depends on the number of major ticks. Otherwise, they shift plot coordinates to the left, right, down and up accordingly.
Title | Description |
Zoom | Magnify selected plot area |
UnZoom | Shrink selected plot area |
Undo Zoom | Undo last zoom operation |
Rescale | Set automatic X,Y scale (all axes) |
Change X1 | Change X1 plot coordinate |
Change X2 | Change X2 plot coordinate |
Change Y1 | Change Y1 plot coordinate |
Change Y2 | Change Y2 plot coordinate |
When Zoom In Tool selected, plot viewer is in Zoom In mode. Select desirable plot region to magnify scale range. This tool does not reset after operation so you may use it repeatedly.
Note that plot viewer mode affects on the X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 commands.
When Zoom Out Tool selected, plot viewer is in Zoom Out mode. Select desirable plot region to shrink scale range. This tool does not reset after operation so you may use it repeatedly.
Note that plot viewer mode affects on the X1, X2, Y1 and Y2 commands.
This command "undoes" plot scaling operations performed with mouse. That is, any time when you change plot scale with Zoom In or Zoom Out tools, previous coordinates are remembered in the special list and may be revoked by this command. Note that this list can track unlimited number of coordinate changes. If it is empty, Undo Zoom command is disabled.
